Ag Nanowires/C as a Selective and Efficient Catalyst for CO2 Electroreduction

The development of a selective and efficient catalyst for CO2 electroreduction is great challenge in storage conversion research. Silver metal an attractive alternative due to its enhanced catalytic performance CO. Here, we prepared Ag nanowires anchored on carbon support as excellent electrocatalyst with remarkably high selectivity the reduction CO Faradic efficiency was approximately 100%. performances may be ascribed dense active sites exposed nanowires’ specific surface area, by uniform dispersion support. Our research demonstrates that supported have potential promising catalysts electroreduction.

Hexagonal Ag/Pt nanoshells were prepared by using a hexagonal Ag nanoplate as the displacement template and by introducing Pt ions.
